Key to the success of the Alliance is the organisation's work to build strong ties with

governmental and non-governmental agencies. Collective action depends on a continuous conversation with governmental officials. Recognising that, the BIA has worked to engage members of public office and connect them with industry members.

The BIA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office in October 2017 which officially recognises the organisation as the government’s “smart partner” in combating private sector corruption.

 

The Alliance's direct line to government is an integral part of our efforts to fight against corruption.
