Who we are
The Business Integrity Alliance (BIA) is a collective action organisation that was formed with a mission to combat corruption factors affecting the business industry by connecting companies, chambers of commerce and industry groups with government.
We're inspired by a vision of a business landscape where companies – and countries – can operate free from corruption, and we believe those ideals can only be achieved through engagement with relevant governmental and non-governmental agencies.
The BIA was established in 2016 and is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Our Guiding Principle
"Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery."
- UN Global Compact Tenth Principle
The Alliance is dedicated to upholding the fundamental values of integrity, transparency and accountability.
We have adopted the UN Global Compact's Tenth Principle into our vision and mission, and support its call for businesses to develop policies and concrete programmes to address corruption.
Collective Action is a practical step to fight corruption and we are committed to working with our peers and stakeholders to promote, foster and embody the values of co-operation, coordination, collaboration, and communication in all our work:
