About Our Work
The Alliance organises various activities as part of our efforts to combat corruption.
These include events such as our best practice sessions, or more technically-focused activities geared at fostering a culture of integrity in Malaysia.
REPRESENTATION TO GOVERNMENT ON INTEGRITY ISSUES AFFECTING BUSINESS
The Business Integrity Alliance has established channels with the relevant government authorities, to pass through the information raised during the focus area sessions for the authorities to take suitable action. Issues raised will be proactively managed, with ongoing monitoring to check progress.
TRANSPARENCY IN TENDERING AND PROCUREMENT
The Business Integrity Alliance promotes transparency in tendering and procurement operations involving public funds, for example by use of agreed codes of conduct and Integrity Pacts.
Other Activities
The Alliance carries out other activities and events from time to time, relevant to reducing the costs and risks of corruption affecting business.
Events
BEST PRACTICE SHARING
The Alliance conducts best practice sharing sessions amongst Partner organisations on topics relevant to business integrity such as whistleblowing and supply chain integrity.
CORRUPTION FOCUS AREA SESSIONS
The Business Integrity Alliance conducts corruption “focus area” mapping sessions to identify where corruption is affecting the business community. The information is then consolidated and anonymized ready to take up the issues raised with the relevant government authorities.
