The BIA launches inaugural Best Practice Forum with new JITN chief

The Business Integrity Alliance (BIA) organised and launched our first ever Best Practice Forum at the Royal Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur, on the 30th of March 2018. The forum was well-attended by a group of participants including business people, experienced integrity practitioners, and representatives form the National Department of Integrity and Good Governance (JITN).

As a late addition to the event, the newly minted Director General (DG) of the JITN, Datuk Dr Anis Yusoff, spoke at the event. He shared with all participants his vision for Malaysia's integrity landscape and his goals in his new capacity as the Department's DG.

Our Secretary General, Dr Mark Lovatt, spoke to the audience about the vision of the BIA, and the current progress being made alongside our pioneering partners.

The programme was centered around the topic of "Embedding a culture of integrity in your workplace", and featured two speakers: Dato' KM Lee from Top Glove, and Ms Yan Huey Miin from Infineon Technologies Malaysia. Their presentations focused on how their companies worked to create strong cultures of integrity through practical programmes, and policies and procedures.
